(More customer reviews)This HTDV antenna is small enough to fit comfortably at the back of a shelf only 8 inches high, completely inside the TV stand. It requires very little space--it can fit behind another component, since it doesn't need any human access in use. One wire to the antenna socket on the TV, power cord to the power strip used for cable box and DVD player, and it's entirely invisible, wholly contained within the cabinet. I use it to receive digital signals (only) in a strong signal area (tower 2.5 miles away), and it does a great job looking out through a wood-and-steel TV-stand cabinet, through internal walls (old-fashioned dense lath and plaster), and then through external walls. It's great not to have a large and ugly indoor antenna visible in the room.
