(More customer reviews)I bought this to get my OTA antennae higher up above my roof line, I was using my parts of my old Dish Network dish mount and this product raised the mount up by a good foot and half. I did not use the base plate because I did not want to remove the one I had mounted to the house already and this bolted up to it just fine. The one thing that annoyed me was that the only hardware provided was for mounting into concrete or a chimney, no lag bolts for those who plan to mount to a wood surface. Other than that the unit is stable and nice looking.
