(More customer reviews)I just received two of these devices and tested one of them. It seems to work well. Auto channel scanning is fast. You can also manually scan individual channels. It has a signal meter which is useful for antenna aiming. And you can choose how to display widescreen pictures (squished to 4:3, letterboxed, or zoomed).
The device has a plastic case, with very small cooling holes on top. I would worry about how long it will last with possibly inadequate cooling. Also, the remote control has a very flimsy battery cover. It has already begun to crack after opening it only twice.
